We live in a modern world where the every-man has a chance to taste the proverbial piece of pie. With shows like Shark Tank or America’s Next Top Model, people bare all in front of the nation to prove they have what it takes to be the next big thing. Now, Jewelry Television (JTV) is offering an opportunity for jewelry designers to land their big break.

JTV has launched a national contest called Rock Star Designer in search of their next jewelry collection designer. You can enter now until April 30^th on jtv.com/RockStar with your head shot, audition tape and photos of your jewelry.

There are three rounds of judging. From public voting to more personalized videos and assets, the first two rounds give America a look at who you are as a person, a style influencer and a designer.

Third round finalists will then be flown to Knoxville to participate in broadcasted challenges over a 4-day period. Each challenge eliminates one finalist until the winner is determined. The winner will be awarded $5,000 cash, one-on-one mentoring with JTV’s jewelry and gemstone buyers, a collection designed and featured on JTV, and expert mentorship and industry know-how.

These broadcasted challenges will give JTV’s 85 million household viewers and fans a close-up and personal look at what you’re made of as a jewelry designer and the passion behind your artistic creations. Just like every other reality-based competition show, this is the perfect opportunity to get your name and designs into a highly visible, public platform. Additionally, you will get to work alongside other rising designers and with industry experts.
