    Girl Scouts Rock in Chicago!

    We’re really excited here on the blog today because Girl Scouts Rock! Powered by Roland is sweeping its way across the country, stopping in the Windy City for a workshop tomorrow. Just one in a series of workshops, the events are designed to inspire and empower girls through music.

    The message of a “Better Life with Music” is very near and dear to our hearts here at FletcherPR. Developed by Roland and Girl Scouts of the USA, the workshops will provide girls ages 8-14 the chance to rock with former Girl Scout and Disney star Shelby Spalione, as she inspires them to learn about music and follow their dreams.

    Workshop attendees are going to have the chance to get up close and personal with some serious musical equipment, including Roland’s Lucina AX-09 Shoulder Synthesizer, HD-1 V-Drums® Lite and Rock Band 3! The latest Girl Scout leadership journey “It’s Your Story – Tell It!” uses a storytelling theme to help girls realize their true potential. The series, made possible by a generous grant from Dove, will lead to a stronger sense of self.

    Roland Corporation has been developing musical instruments for nearly 40 years, setting the standard for music technology through its manufacturing and distribution. This is such an exciting time for girl scouts as well as their parents and we know it will be a life-changing experience for all involved!
