    Value-Conscious Consumerism...Something to Sing About!

Women are bombarded with messages telling us what we should buy, how we should dress and who we should emulate. These murky waters can be daunting, especially as we are trying to raise up the next generation of confident, self-assured young ladies. Thankfully, there’s a new trend on the rise, one we're calling "value-conscious consumerism," and it’s most encouraging to see.

Value-conscious consumerism means shopping with your virtues and values in mind. Brands such as Philosophy® and TOMS shoes allow women to purchase goods from companies with values that are similar to their own. Another company providing options in this arena is What's Your Virtue?®. When one mom was cosmetics shopping for her teen and pre-teen daughters, she was appalled to see the explicit and suggestive names found on many brands of lip gloss. What’s Your Virtue?® was born from her desire to provide lip gloss that would support a positive message, not just for her girls, but women everywhere. Lip Bliss™ is that product and it’s flying off shelves as more and more folks become fans! Each color is named with a virtue, from Kindness and Devotion to Wisdom and Generosity, with each shade carefully designed to complement different skin tones.

Lip Bliss™ was recently featured as a favorite by the editor of Eliza Magazine and will be sold locally at Medi-Spa, Knoxville Dermatology Group. This is a product moms and daughters alike will love and it is empowering women, one application at a time!
