Riley has a lot to say about marketing. This video, taken from YouTube, was filmed at a toy store by a guy we assume is her dad. It shows her baffled by the fact that the girl toys are all pink and mostly princesses. She goes on to say that the companies try to trick the girls into buying the pink stuff instead of stuff that boys want, like superheroes. According to her, girls want superheroes too.

As a public relations firm specialized in marketing to women, we encounter the same issues as Riley much of the time. We see brands trying to reach their female consumers by slapping a little pink on a product, rather than actually doing the research and understanding what women want. And as Riley says, it isn't always more pink stuff.
